his name was Marshall

Randy met Marshall at the Rock Hill Animal Shelter when he was just a puppy. He looked like a black bear cub, so the shelter employees had named him Bear. Later, Randy gave him the name Marshall, as he proudly watched over their homestead atop Skinner Mountain. Marshall’s mother had been killed by a hunter and he had been brought into an animal shelter, upstate. He was a feral dog and randy had to sign a release and commit to a number of conditions before he was able to adopt him. They were lifelong buddies and had many adventures together. His left ear was floppy and bent throughout his adult life. Look closely at the black relief below the M in our logo and you will see Marshall’s ears.

when you meet Randy, ask him to tell you a story about Marshall. You will not be disappointed.
